BEING A WOMAN – EVERY BIT OF INFORMATION HELPS

Some of us have the good fortune to have had an upbringing. I don’t mean a good or bad upbringing. Any upbringing. It doesn’t matter how many parents are in residence, what matters is exposure to upbringing, exposure to what direction is best to take. It also doesn’t matter whether you are rich or poor. People with good manners have a better chance for better learning; they get invited into situations where doors open to higher levels of life opportunities.

I believe it all starts with good manners.

TABLE MANNERS is one. We don’t eat with our hands, so using silverware correctly is important. Using napkins, keeping elbows off the table, not reaching across anyone, not talking with food in your mouth are knowledge that can take you places. It’s not too late to learn.

CLOTHING. Never buy anything because it looks good on someone else. Say “No” to a fad, a passing style designed just to make quick money. You must know your body, which parts to show and which to hide; when to show and when to hide. You must know what enhances your height and weight and coloring.

Remember, you are not the only woman with breasts, with beautiful skin, with shapely buttocks, or stunning legs. There’s nothing wrong with showing cleavage, showing skin, showing off your best features. What’s wrong is when it’s overdone.

The rules of dressing are also dictated by the time and place of your activities. There are tasteful ways to dress and get noticed, be sexy and desirable. A woman doesn’t have to be provocative. It serves us better to be refreshing, curious and mysteriously interesting.
